Mychael Ayana LeBeouf
Mychael is the 2021 Brian K. Jones Children of Destiny scholar.
She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a recent graduate of DeLaSalle High School and the NOCCA (New Orleans Center of Creative Arts) Media Arts program.
In the Fall of 2021, she will begin her matriculation at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, where she will major in Animation with a concentration in 2D Animation. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a master’s in art therapy to one day offer inner-city children the opportunity to express their emotions through the world of art. In addition, she will pursue her dream of bringing her multi-cultural character designs to life for all to see at Pixar or Cartoon Network.
